If English is not your first language, I can proofread your research documents and journal articles and help give you confidence that you are presenting your ideas credibly. Proofreading this kind of paper can often involve a collaborative process with the author(s), which I greatly enjoy.

TESTIMONIALS

I am grateful to benefit from Liz's proofreading. Her work is absolutely extraordinary, always on time. The reviewers of my scientific articles always applaud the quality of the writing. Moreover, thanks to Liz's comments and explanations added to my texts, I can improve my English. I recommend Liz without any hesitation.

Martyna Tomczyk
Postdoctoral researcher in the Ethics of Palliative Care

As Editor-in-Chief of a scientific medical journal, I frequently use the proofreading services provided by Liz. She offers expert language-polishing and a sound understanding of what has been written. She gives the editor just what he needs: the suggestions and space to make his own choice of words and expressions and the perfect collaboration for the benefit of the reader.

Dr Ben Zylicz
Editor-in-Chief
Advances in Palliative Medicine

Not only did Liz correct grammatical errors and localize the expression, but she also provided valuable suggestions for changing certain details in the content. Her suggestions were particularly helpful in avoiding misunderstandings caused by cultural differences. Communication with her was smooth and pleasant. In the future, I will undoubtedly seek her out for academic or other formal document proofreading needs and recommend her to my friends and classmates.

I’m really very happy with your work. It was excellent! You not only understand broken English, you also understand medical issues. I wish you great success. I’ll recommend your work to all my friends!

Dr Maria KÅ‚opocka
Internal Medicine Specialist and Gastroenterologist

As an international student, the most difficult part of my study sometimes is not having amazing ideas but knowing how to express my ideas in a correct and accurate way. Although I have learnt English for more than ten years, it is hardly possible for me to make my theses like a native speaker’s work just by myself. But with Liz’s careful and effective copy-editing and proofreading, as my supervisor commented, my dissertation became excellent. Liz is a very kind and easygoing person. Her comments and suggestions are really helpful. I appreciate her nice work and would like to recommend her to my friends and classmates.

ABOUTME

ABOUT ME

I started my proofreading business in 2009. Before that, I gained proofreading and book production skills working for an academic publishing company in Oxford. I later taught business and general English to businesspeople in Japan, Poland and Finland, as well as teaching English to adult learners here in Britain.

I live in Hull (UK City of Culture in 2017) but I work with people all over the UK and all over the world. I greatly enjoy working with clients and assisting them in presenting themselves and their ideas in the best possible light. I am happy to say that many clients come back to me again and again.
